Club Elections Slated for November General Meeting
Elections are just around the corner. Make sure you attend the November meeting to have a voice in selecting the members who will guide the operation of the Club during 2004. To date, the following members have agreed to run for office:
President – Brian Pasternak
Vice President – Jim Schlapfer and Clark Woodring
Secretary – Ryan Jamison
Treasurer – Dick Stewart
Nominations can still be accepted from the floor until voting begins but all nominees must be present and agree to stand for election. Voting will be by secret ballot.

Secretary’s Scratchings
The General Membership meeting of the Delaware R/C Club was held on Tuesday, October 7, 2003. President Mark Weiss called the meeting to order at 7:30
Treasurer’s Report
Dick Stewart gave treasurer’s report as follows:

The Treasurer’s Report was accepted as presented.
Events
The Club Auction will be held on November 1st. The flea market will open at 9:00, and the auction will be held at 11:00. Help is needed for setting up and for clean-up, so any volunteers would be appreciated. All tables have been sold and suggestions are needed for the drawing items.

Club Renewals
Renewals will be considered “early” until the February club meeting. All the early renewals will be entered into a raffle; three people will win prizes as an expression of thanks for renewing early.
New business/old business
-The pavilion roof is in need of repair.
- A work party is needed to cut new paths. Small chain saws, machetes, cutters, etc. will be needed. A date has not yet been set for this party.
Show and Tell
Dick Slutz brought a Hobby People Waco ARF. It has an O.S. 91 four stroke engine, a modified firewall and landing gear mount. Dick said it fly’s well.

50/50
The 50/50 was $21 won by Dan Weick
