The Delaware R/C Club is a chartered club of the Academy of Model Aeronautics
We are a group of Radio Control Model Aviation enthusiasts whose purpose is to enjoy and promote the hobby and sport of R/C model aviation.
Our Flying Site is located within the Lums Pond State Park in Kirkwood, Delaware and features two large grass runways for fixed and rotary wing aircraft.

The next General Membership
Meeting will be held at the Flying Field. Saturday November 2, 2024
starting at approx 11:00AM or after the Fall Field Cleanup Party and
Pavilion Wrap which starts at 9:00AM at the Flying Field. Check for
updates!
Online Meeting invitations will be sent via Club Email List. Be sure to sign up to our Email List below to receive Club announcements and invitations.
Fall Field Cleanup and Pavilion Wrap will be held on Saturday November 2nd starting at 9:00AM at the Flying Field. Please bring screw guns, gloves, rakes, and leaf blower.
Delaware R/C Flea Market - Saturday November 9, 2024
Delaware City Fire Hall located at 815 5th St, Delaware City, DE
19706 from 8:00AM through 1:00PM. Doors open to vendors at
7:30AM. Food will be served by the Ladies Auxiliary of Delaware

Pond Fest 2024 at Lums Pond State Park - Event by Friends of
Lums Pond State Park - November 10 from 12:00 Noon to 4PM
The Delaware R/C Club is arranging a static R/C Model display
and possibly a small electric flying demonstration at the event.
The Club has an AMA Sanction for the event. Official Event
